He got it from Rqms Williams, The Barracks, 1st battalion Dorchester Regiment, Dorchester, who noted it down as a boy. The play was a special revival for the BBC, organised by F.c. James, 25 Bridport Roiad, Dorchester, and made up of the villagers. The play does not appear to have a firm tradition, but was performed by various groups of villagers at spasmodic intervals.
